  The Center has 397 staff members, among which 89 are senior geologists. Among the senior geologists, 5 experts earning government’s special subsidy, 22 Ph.D. and Ph .D students, 2 FGA jewelry appraisers, 8 national jewelry and jades appraisers and 13 candidate for key project leaders. The center replenishs continuously younger scientific and technical personnel and forms a research group with young technicians .
  The Center has fulfilled researches of more than 400 projects since its foundation. It has submitted more than 280 reports of key projects, which shows distinguished economic benefits. It has won more than 170 scientific and technological awards from the State, Ministry and Province.
