Introduction
The time of founding: May, 1962 The ownership: Geological institutin of the Ministry of Land and Resources of People's Republic of China. Administrative subordination: One of the subordinate research institutes of the Ministry of Land and Resources of China, operated directly under China Geological Survey. Nanjing Center, China Geological Survey, hereinafter referred to as "Nanjing Center", as one of the national public institutes focusing on geological survey, geosciences research and geological information service, undertaking national level of general, public geological survey and strategic mineral exploration projects, is in charge of management, coordination and supervision of East China geological survey, with the collection, administration and service on the regional geological information.Nanjing Center possesses many human resources of intelligence and strong technical power. There are 287 present employees, and 254 professional engineers occupy 88.5% of the whole amount. Educational Structure:23 staff in Ph.D degree 92 staff in Master Degree 97 staff in Bachelor Degree
